Bare copper wires do not have longer life and reliability in compare to insulated wires. Again, covered or insulated wires come with excellent durability and guarantee with excellent stability over a bare copper wire.
According to many reputed mechanical engineers, insulated wires have much more resistant power. These also have better electrical transmission capability over other types of wires available in the market.
For an example, with bare copper wires there are chances that the main wire may get exposed to the element easily. These wires may also become degrade and loose its quality. So, using a bare copper wire is not a nice idea as it can has some adverse effect on the wiring work. An insulated copper wire provides users with maximum electrical conductivity.
Vast Usage and Flexibility:
There is no doubt on the durability of insulated copper wire. So, the usage of these kinds of wires is vast. There are some usages of covered wires which can’t be substituted. Like for marine industry insulated copper wires are just ideal. It has unbelievable resistance power and it can take water pressure immensely. On the other hand, insulated wires are the first choice for high voltage jobs; bare copper wires have the risk of getting damage because of some short circuits.
So, next time when you are opting for some critical electrical job, you should use insulated copper wire and not a bare copper wire.
