Special Power Cable with PVC Coating

Polyvinyl chloride is most preferred plastic coating for the electrical wires. Its main feature that makes it important in electrical application is that it is very durable, economical and easily to assembled. Prime utility of PVC coated wires is that they are commonly used for the insulation of electric wiring. The fact that they are secure from fire makes them popular in the electrical domain. PVC is most ubiquitous, soft and pliable material that is available in variety of operating temperatures with an average up to 90°C. PVC insulated wire is the most basic lead wire that is usually available in UL styles 1007 and 1015, the prior is a 300 volt wire while 1015 is 600 volt wire.

Even copper strip manufacturer make use of PVC coating for reducing heat loss, in addition to this PVC wires have excellent resistance to corrosion are low cost wires as well. The retarded oxidation properties along with the insulating and resilient properties make it an excellent material for costing both the copper and aluminium wires. This coating increases the life span of the wire. Also referred to as hook up wire, PVC coated wire are smaller and are mostly used in indoors. Owing to the reason that for certain applications at times need wire to be more flexible, it is available with different flexibility options.

PVC Coated Wire- An Overview

PVC coated wire being relatively low in cost and resilient has become popular choice for electrical wiring. The most important feature polyvinyl chloride coating prevents fire hazards and safeguards the wire from moisture and water. The galvanized steel wire is coated with polyvinyl chloride for rendering the added protection even against the most aggressive environments.

Galvanized steel wire and PVC are adhered firmly together for giving excellent resistance against corrosion as well as anti aging property. With the PVC coating the life of galvanized wire is almost doubled. These special power cables meet the stringent demands of both quality as well as ultra high flexibility.

Coated and PVC insulated wire are also largely use in telecommunication systems, toys, sports equipment and in other general electrical appliances. Being relatively low in cost and resilient it has become popular choice for electrical wiring. The most important feature polyvinyl chloride coating prevents fire hazards and safeguards the wire from moisture and water. With the increasing popularity and use of PVC coated wire the number of suppliers has also immensely increased as well. These days most of the companies are facilitating online purchase of their products. Some of wire manufactures also offer customize product as per the need and specifications of the customers.

Manufacturing of Copper Wire

Copper has widely been used for various electrical purposes, electrical wiring is the prime reason. However for manufacturing copper wire, copper has to go many stages. Thereafter copper wire is coated for manufacturing PVC coated wire or PVC insulated wire.

The first step is mining as well as crushing of copper. Thereafter it is grinded and crushed in large machines into powder. After that the waste slag is removed, then it is turned into pure copper cathode by:

  • Leaching- in this step the oxide ore is leached by weak acid solution which forms weak copper sulfate solution.
  • Electro winning- in this one the copper laden solution is treated and then transformed into electrolytic process tank.
  • Smelting- smelting involves recycling of copper parts, it involves melting as well as purifying copper.
  • Electrolytic refining: Pure copper ions can be electrolytically migrated after smelting or electro winning.

Once copper is produced they are used to make various copper wire products. Copper is now serving to be one of the most important metals. They are used widely and can almost be considered a mandate in electrical and electronic purpose. The same can been converted into wires of various shapes and sizes.

Manufacturing Process of Copper Wires

Industries have demands of different types of special power cable for meeting the diverse requirements. Owing to this reason most of the copper wire manufacturers also facilitate customized manufacturing of copper wires by following customer oriented approach and have sown heart warming ability. Copper wires are largely used for electrical as well as electronic purposes. All the steps involved in the manufacturing of wires such as PVC coated wire and PVC insulated wire is ensures to follow the quality standards. It is been converted into wires of numerous shapes and sizes. Major steps involved in manufacturing of copper wires include:

• Leaching- oxide ore are leached by a weak acid solution forming a weak copper sulfate solution.

• Electro winning- Copper laden solution is been treated and transformed in to an electrolytic process tank.

• Smelting- The recycled copper starts its new journey when it is re smelted. The stages of melting and purifying copper finally results in ninety nine percent pure copper.

• Electrolytic refining- after smelting or electro winning pure copper ions are migrated electrolytically from one anodes to the "starter sheets" that is made up of copper foil.

There are many companies that are manufacturing electrical appliances from copper metal leave no stone unturned to meet all the quality parameters and give a precision engineered products. The effective quality strategy helps them maintain the standards throughout the production process.

PVC Coated Wires- The Special Power Cables

PVC wires are the most basic kind of lead wires that are available in different UL styles. You may see special power cable of PVC in most of your appliances like car stereo wire harness. PVC coated wire is made by quoting quality iron wires with PVC .i.e. the most preferred plastic coating for wires. These coated wires are fire retardant, less resilient and they also possess other excellent insulating properties.

Anti rusting quality galvanized wires are used for making coated and PVC insulated wires. These galvanized wires are firmly combined with polyvinyl chloride and the duo have to go through a deep processing that results in anti aging, corrosion resistance as well as anti cracking wires. Once the PVC and galvanized iron wire are adhered firmly together the wire formed last much longer in comparison to the common galvanized wire. Moreover you also have choice of colors in this special power cable.

Different types of PVC wires are suitable for the general use as well. They are widely used in telecommunication systems, toys, sports equipment and other general wiring. There are many copper wire manufacturers that offer all kind of copper appliances and wires while most of them specialize in one of product such as copper strip manufacturer.
