Copper finds its uses in many domains. It is a useful element which is extensively used in the automobile industry, electrical domain, marine projects, transportation, etc. Copper, the conductor is being used in the form of multiple variants. Its versatile properties have made it a very useful metal in almost every sphere of our lives. Many industries are using this metal by molding it into various shapes and sizes.
Presence of thin conductors makes stranded copper wire more flexible and solid in comparison to other wires. With the virtues of strength, reliability and durability, stranded wire is a preferred choice of builders. The stranded wire has higher resistance as compared to solid copper having similar diameter.
Copper coated with tin makes the tin copper wire. This is done to enhance the durability and strength of the wire. The wire undergoes various chemical processes which turn it into tinned wire. Copper can also be used in making jewelry and ornaments. It is coated with silver in order to make silver copper wire which is further used for crafting various silver coated jewelry and accessories. It is made out of heating the copper metal until it turns soft so that one can easily mold it to work with it.
Yet another variant the Power cable uses stranded copper conductors for transmission of electrical power. These power cables include conductors that are not insulated. These are used for neutral circuit or for ground connection (also known as earth).
